The Law of Enclosures plot

"In love, out of time."

Two stories about couples: a couple in love and a married couple: told chronologically or a parallel history of attraction and repulsion? Beatrice, a young cashier, falls in love with the introverted Henry. Henry has cancer and because they assume that Henry will not live much longer, their romance is intense. Bea and Hank have been married for a long time and are tired of each other, their children no longer see them and one is drinking and the other whining. Things come together when Hank wants to build a vacation home.
