The Last Train from Madrid plot

"The first flaming love drama of the Spanish Civil war."

During the Spanish Civil War, a train full of refugees departs from Madrid in search of safer places. During the journey, events from the lives of seven passengers are told. Among the refugees are a political refugee, his licentious girlfriend, a hooker, a baroness, a reporter who has grown tired of life and an orphan who follows the reporter. A single safety officer must ensure that the train reaches its destination safely.
