Reasonable film in which a man has left his family and wonders whether he made the right decision. A bit bittersweet in tone and the film has some great scenes. The characters and the environment they find themselves in are well developed, but it all goes a bit too many directions. Despite the good acting, just under 3.5 stars.

Nice, just like all other films by director Nicole Holofcener, but this time too noncommittal and unfinished to really make an impression. Fortunately, the sympathetic characters and funny dialogues make up for a lot. Ben Mendelsohn clearly feels a bit uncomfortable in the lead role, but the first-class cast around him ensures that this tragicomic work looks pleasant.

With a title like that you shouldn't expect a masterpiece.

Mendelsohn plays his part rather coolly, and the narrative then floats from one thing to the next without making much of a fuss. As a result, it is a completely forgettable and sleep-inducing film without any memorable scene or action. That's why I write something about it right away, tomorrow that wouldn't work anymore.

Perhaps the only thing I like about it is a somewhat wise life lesson: If you have already bought something against your better judgment that you later regret, throw it in the bin yourself. Don't bother your family with it.
