The Kingfisher Caper plot

When the influential diamond trader Hendrych Van Der Byl hears from his doctor that he does not have long to live, he decides to divide his estate between his son Benedict and his daughter Tracey. His adopted son, Johnny Lance, is given the Kingfisher project, a ship that mines diamonds from the seabed in a completely new way. This doesn't please Benedict, who has always hated Johnny. Now that he has also been appointed his father's successor, he does everything he can to thwart Johnny's project.
