The Kidnapping of Baby John Doe plot

The story about a woman who gives birth to a physically and mentally severely handicapped child and who is faced with a dilemma. She eventually (with her family) decides that euthanasia would be best. However, this goes against the views of the nurse, who through her well-intentioned meddling shifts this poignant ethical issue to the hospital board, bringing the problem into the open without the consent of those involved.
