The Journals of Knud Rasmussen plot

January 1922. The rapidly changing world does not pass anyone by. Danish explorer and scientist Knud Rasmussen visits the isolated camp of the Inuit shaman Aua. For Rasmussen and his protégé Mathiassen, their visit to the camp borders on paradise. What the Danes don't realize, however, is that this rustic and peaceful place is also on the brink of major changes such as Christian Bibles in the Inuit language, reliance on foreign merchandise and their very first encounter with the police.
