The Inner Sanctuary plot

A Catholic parish in Melbourne provides poor relief. Andrew, an accountant, is tasked with auditing the parish's books. If the Vicar General of the Diocese has his way, this will likely lead to the closure of the parish. Andrew is ambitious and wants to advance his career, but he also becomes involved in the lives and activities of Father Kelly and some of the people under the priest's care.
