The Hopes & Dreams of Gazza Snell plot

"Everyone is a little extraordinary."

Gazza Snell, like his two sons Marc and Ed, is crazy about karting. He is obsessed with the fact that his boys have the talent to make it in motorsport. A lucrative career in Formula 1 has become a real option for them. Gazza has borrowed a lot of money, is about to get a good job with a local Chinese businessman and is hopeful that Marc will find a place in the Italian elite team with top trainers after the next race. It is a passion that is reluctantly accepted by their mother, Gail. She loves Gazza and her boys, but often feels like an outsider in her own family. One day the boys have an accident on the go-kart track. Marc is unharmed, but Ed is in a coma. Gazza's life is turned upside down. Gail's worst nightmare has come true and Marc believes it's all his fault.
