The Healer plot
"THE FACE ALL AMERICA HAS LEARNED TO LOVE!"
Doctor Holden volunteers to run a children's camp at the mineral springs of the Adirondacks. All the children present have become victims of polio and benefit from staying in the camp. Vacation aid Joan Bradshaw is thrown from her horse and Holden performs a tricky operation that sees Joan make a full recovery. They fall in love and Holden forgets about his charitable work. Little Jimmy is paralyzed and is being cared for by the faithful nurse Allen. When Allen has an accident, no one seems to care about Jimmy's well-being anymore.
