The Girl in Room 20 plot

Lonely country girl Daisy Mae Walker travels to New York. Her presence in the 'Big Apple' as a singer also attracts the attention of dubious men. Daisy is exploited several times by several of these men and she eventually tries to escape her exploitation, but also the paternalistic behavior of several taxi drivers and colleagues.
