The Garden of Allah plot
When he entered a Trappist monastery in Algeria, Father Adrien took a vow of chastity. If he breaks that vow by hugging a girl, he must disengage from the monastery. On his way to the oasis of Beni-Mora, he rescues the devout Catholic Domini Enfilden from a rebellious mob. She notices at a party of Count Anteoni that he is avoiding priests and crucifixes. However, they fall in love and decide to get married.
