The Gabby Douglas Story plot
Gabby Douglas, the youngest of four children, was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder as a baby. Her mother Natalie is a proud woman who refuses government support, despite living in poverty. Natalie allows her youngest daughter to take gymnastics classes, where her talent is immediately recognized. Gradually, Douglas is boxing himself up to Olympic-level glory.
