The Foolish Virgin plot

When the young teacher Mary Adams is out of class, she dreams of the time when the world was populated by knights and fair damsels in distress. She is so imbued with the spirit of romance that when a strange young man saves her from a villain, she idolizes her hero, seeing him as her heroic knight. Mary's savior is Jim Anthony, a mechanic with inventive talent. Embittered after his invention is stolen, he becomes a burglar. Knowing nothing about this, Mary falls in love with him and marries him.
