The Ernest Green Story plot
"Because of his courage, Central High School will never be the same."
Little Rock, 1957. It has just been passed in parliament that blacks should have the same opportunities for education as whites. Seven young blacks, including Ernest Green (Morris Chestnut), make their way to Central High. The white students revolt and their parents protest. The governor, who wants to be re-elected, calls in the National Guard to prevent the blacks from entering. When the riots spiral out of control, President Eisenhower has the military step in to enforce obedience to the law.
