The Disappearance of Vonnie plot

Corrine Kaczmarek is told by her sister Vonni's husband Ron Rickman that Vonnie has abandoned her family without saying a word to anyone. Corrine doesn't want to believe that and she starts her own investigation. She strongly suspects that Ron killed her sister Vonnie. When she begins to dig into Ron's past, her suspicions are confirmed. Without a corpse, a murder weapon and an eyewitness, however, it is almost impossible to convince the police that she is right.
