A strange alternative version of the story already presented in "Them" focuses more on the perspective of Eleanor Rigby (Jessica Chastain). She certainly doesn't disappear! It's basically all the scenes with Chastain that were in the first film, but with "deleted scenes." So, you don't get much out of it.

A film about a woman who attempted suicide. Afterward, she tries to get her life back on track with the help of her parents and younger sister. It was clear to me pretty quickly what had happened, but the film drags it out, revealing it and actually expressing it very slowly. And that, for me, is the biggest flaw. If you already know what happened, don't beat around the bush and delve deeper. And that's what doesn't happen for a long time in the film. Only right towards the end did it finally start to become the beautiful film it could have been much sooner. There were plenty of elements and possibilities. But that came too late. A shame. I only just noticed that there are three versions of this film. So, I've seen the "re" version. I've seen the other two as well, so I assume I'll see those in due course. Maybe that will make the viewing experience different. Although this is probably the first of the three films.
