The Dark Tower plot

A traveling circus, led by Phil Danton, struggles to keep its head above water. When one day the mysterious Stephen Torg knocks on the door for work, he manages to calm an escaped lion through hypnosis. This leads publicity manager Jimmy Powers to an idea that culminates in a dangerous act, in which acrobat Mary is hypnotized. The money rolls in, but Mary gradually comes under the influence of Torg.
