The Courtneys of Curzon Street plot

On New Year's Eve of 1899, Edward Courtney, son of a baronet, becomes engaged to his mother's maid. This causes a scandal in London society. The film then follows this upper-class British family through four generations and three wars. Facing separations, experiencing joys and tragedies, many of the young men enlist in the military.
