"HEXED BY THE EVIL EYE"
Maximus is an amateur mind reader who can conjure up frightening flashes of visions of the future, only he cannot predict when they will come or control them. But then Maximus concludes, he only has these flashes when he is in close proximity to Christine Shawn, the attractive daughter of the publisher Shawn. Rene, Shawn's equally attractive wife, is sickly jealous of her daughter. Maximus is uncomfortable with this situation, but he only really gets into trouble when the disasters he predicts come true.
