The Christmas Path plot

"An angel cast out by Santa Claus must restore a young boy's faith in order to regain his wings."

After the tragic death of his father, twelve-year-old Cal has lost his faith. His mother struggles to make ends meet and can't buy angel wings for Cal's sister Dora's Christmas play. When Cal breaks the Christmas tree in the village out of frustration, a path of stars forms in the sky, with a gaping hole in the middle. The star path is used by Santa to travel to Earth and is made of people's faith. To mend the hole in the center, Santa sends the angel Balthazar to Earth to restore Cal's faith.
