The Christmas Checklist plot

Emily Robertson, grieving the recent death of her mother, returns to her Colorado hometown and discovers her mother's final request: a Christmas checklist of twelve tasks to complete by December 25th. As Emily works through the checklist—designed for self-healing and rediscovering the spirit of the season—she bonds with Noah, a local freelance writer drawn to her story. Each activity brings Emily closer to emotional reconciliation, new friendships, and the final item on the list: finding love.
