The Bofors Gun plot

"Gunner O'Rourke was sick of being pushed around...so he pushed back"

A British corporal who is on the eve of his leave from Germany, where he is stationed, must keep watch at the field guns. He wants to do his job well, because in England he continues on a non-commissioned officer course. Then he comes face to face with a rebellious Irish gunner who has a blind hatred of the English.
