The Black Essence plot

A wealthy businessman suffers from mental health issues. His girlfriend is deeply in love with him, but exhausted by that love. The man's 25-year-old son is paralyzed. He silently struggles with his own ideas of liberation. He was raised by his father's best friend, who himself is struggling with emotional tragedies. The son notices his father's vulnerable state and begins suggesting ways he can escape their collective misery. This raises the ultimate existential question: is death a form of freedom?
