The Big Shot-Caller plot

As a child, Jamie Lesser watched the Strictly Ballroom dance program some 97 times a day and dreamed of becoming a salsa dancer. But in 'real life' his social awkwardness, failed love life and myopia play a big part. After an endless series of disappointments, he turns to his estranged sister Lianne, an assertive and self-proclaimed hip-hop dance dynamo, to inspire him, regain his confidence and become the person he once envisioned.
