Ray Henderson, Buddy de Sylva and Lew Brown are one of the most successful musical writers of the time in the 1920s. They string one Broadway hit after another. But de Sylva's personal ambition gradually leads to huge frictions between the trio, especially when the other two find themselves increasingly being kept away from new projects.
