The Beehive plot

A family is confronted with an unexplained cosmic event on their farm. When the young, curious and adventurous Rosemary discovers what she thinks is a large beehive growing on a branch of one of their trees, she visits the hive every day to carefully document its unusual growth. The girl soon discovers that it is not what she thought it was. In the picturesque Canadian landscape, the hive and the threat grow, but also the tensions within the community and the family.
