Michael Skid is the son of a wealthy judge. He comes home from his travels through India and rents a dilapidated farm. The ideas he acquired in India intrigue him and make him want to transfer these wisdoms to his old environment. Some people seem very enthusiastic about his stories, but an ex-con he meets takes advantage of him.
