The Baby in the Basket plot

"Evil isn't raised, it's born."

The year is 1942, World War II is raging and the nuns of the isolated Scottish monastery St. Augustine's are preparing for an oncoming storm. At night a baby is left in a basket on the doorstep and the nurses take it in to care for the child. As the evening progresses, a nun, Sister Agnes, soon suspects that the child is the son of the devil.
