The Attic Door plot

Two children, brother and sister, were abandoned by their parents on a farm in the vast and desolate American west in the 20th century. Their parents have moved to the city because of the birth of their third child. Every day, the two children struggle to keep the farm going and eagerly await their parents' return. With nowhere to hide, the children find that they are not completely alone. No matter how hard they try to deny the truth, something behind the door in the attic has awakened and they must face their worst fear.
