The Amy Fisher Story plot
It's May 19, 1992. 17-year-old high school girl Amy Fisher shocks America by putting a bullet through the head of Mary Jo Buttafuoco that day. She is the wife of a garage owner with whom Amy Fisher has a sexual relationship. The three largest television companies immediately dive into the story and build the largest media circus in history around the murder. Tension rises when the rumor spreads that Amy was acting at her lover's behest.
