Early 1900's: 9-year-old Ociee Nash grows up with her father with her two older brothers. After her father decides she needs a woman's influence, he sends Ociee to her aunt in South Carolina. During her journey there, Ociee Nash meets all kinds of famous people such as Nellie Bly, Orville and Wilbur Wright, and even President William McKinley.
