Teufel in Seide plot

The concert pianist Thomas Ritter marries the attractive and glamorous Melanie. But he soon finds out that behind her pretty face there is a poignant psychopath. Her baseless accusations, morbid jealousy and threats to commit suicide make his life hell. Finally, he flees into the arms of the warm-hearted Sabine and asks for a divorce with Melanie. In a final act of revenge, Melanie takes her own life and, in great detail, makes sure that her husband is suspected of murder.
