Teresa plot

"The story of a bride. Revealing. Intimate."

Shortly before the end of WWII, American soldier Philip Quas meets the beautiful Italian Teresa. They fall in love and as soon as Philip is released from the military hospital; where he was admitted after a fight because of an anxiety neurosis; they marry. Soon, however, the first cracks appear in their marital bliss. Philip still struggles with the terrible experiences he has had at the front and Teresa has a hard time with Philip's mother; a dominant woman who cannot bear the fact that her son knows another love.
