Teräsleidit plot

"Leave when it's already too late"

Inkeri, 75, is on the run with her two sisters Raili and Sylvi after hitting her husband on the head with a frying pan. During their road trip through Finland, they are surprised by charming hitchhikers, fond memories and shameless dancing in the pub. When Inkeri comes across old feminist texts she wrote as a free woman during her college days and finds her childhood sweetheart Eino along the way, she is reminded of her earlier dreams that were suppressed in her life by a patriarchal marriage.
