Tenchi Meisatsu plot
The young samurai Santetsu is a studious astronomer with a passion for mathematical puzzles. When he is asked to create a new calendar, a task that involves traveling across the country to properly map all the stars, he happily accepts the task. However, introducing a new calendar and the ideological consequences it entails poses a threat to some powerful individuals in society. These persons therefore set out to hinder Santetsu's progress.
