Teacher, Teacher plot

The story of the mentally retarded boy Freddie Putnam (Billy Schulman) who at 13 knows less than a child of 7. His father (George Grizzard) hires the home teacher Hamilton (David McCallum) to update the boy. With angelic patience, he makes the impossible possible, while the father is away from home for a few weeks. Meanwhile, caretaker Charles (Ossie Davis) teaches Freddie the necessary manual dexterity.
