Tausend Melodien plot

Haughty young violinist Martin Hoff (Benrath) with talent - just graduated cum laude from the conservatory in Heidelberg, turns down a responsible commercial offer from schlager singer Irina Servi (Johns) to go on tour together. With the money intended to support his brother's sawmill, he organizes his first concert that fails. This literally and figuratively drives him into Irina's arms.
