Tár úr Steini plot

Biographical film about the life of the Icelandic composer Jón Leifs, who moves with his family to Berlin in the 1930s, where he causes a furore as a conductor and can perform his own music. The Nazis are now in power and they see this 'Aryan' composer as good propaganda. However, there is one problem: Jón's wife is Jewish, and so are his two daughters, whom he adores. But the Nazis put him under increasing pressure to get a divorce. Ultimately, Jón Leifs will have to choose between his family or his music.
