Tang Huang You Difu plot

Free, contemporary adaptation of three chapters from Journey to the West. Emperor Li Shimin is a leader with a mysterious government appointment in this contemporary adaptation. When the nefarious Dragon King tries to manipulate the weather for the sake of a wager and incurs the wrath of the heavenly messenger, he intervenes. But he ends up between two fires and is mortally wounded. On his deathbed, he is haunted by the ghost of the Dragon King, a curse that can only be undone by paying a price to the underworld.
