Taming the Floods plot

In 'Taming the Floods' the dream of landscape architect Jan Dijkstra (Jan Decleir) comes true: he is allowed to design an area in Poland that is regularly flooded by the river. Dijkstra wants to create a large nature reserve in which humans no longer have any influence: an area where the river can run its course and wolves can be released. However, the fanatical landscape architect pays too little attention to the interests of the local population. His younger colleague David is eventually sent to Poland to put things in order.
