Tal Día Hizo un Año plot
Accompanied by a loud cricket orchestra, German Larissa and her nine-year-old twins arrive at their father's family home in Spain's Sierra Morena Mountains. Father's flight turns out to be delayed, but the guests are received as a matter of course by his mother and her adult daughter who lives at home. The usually calm existence of the women, in the middle of vast farmlands, is interrupted by the energetic presence of the children. As the sweltering hot days pile up, everyone in attendance tries to relate to each other. Is it the language barrier that makes deep conversations impossible?
