"Evil loves the lonely."
Adele is sent by her mother to her wealthy Aunt Dora to nurse her. Adele soon becomes lonely in the large, empty house when Dora never leaves her room. She meets the seductive and mysterious Beth and the two quickly become friends. However, as Beth demands more and more time and attention, Adele begins to avoid her responsibilities for caring for her aunt. When Adele suspects that Beth is not who she appears to be, she begins to lose her mind and follows in her unstable aunt's footsteps.
