Susan plot

Loving wife and mother Susan lives in London with her young daughter Lisa. Since the loss of her husband Paul, who fought in Afghanistan, Susan struggles with daily reality. Despite her suffering, she tries to stay strong for her child. Her love is strong and keeps her hope alive, but other traumatic events drive Susan further into despair. A friend encourages her to seek comfort in church, but Susan is unsure and doubts her faith.
