Summer School, 2001 plot

After years of separation, a young soldier returns to his family in the Czech Republic, scarred by the Vietnam War. His father keeps his distance, his mother clings to the hope of recovery, and his younger brother struggles with the arrival of someone he barely knows. What begins as a cautious summer full of promises turns into a simmering battle of jealousy, guilt, and unspoken pain. When a fatal accident forces the family to truly face each other, they discover that true reconciliation only begins when one dares to show the scars.
