Summer's Lease plot

Molly Pargeter finds the perfect villa in Tuscany for a holiday with her family. She is deeply attracted to the beauty and tranquility of the property, but her husband and teenage daughter are less enthusiastic. Fortunately, her extroverted father persuades everyone to take a holiday there. Over the holidays, Molly becomes increasingly obsessed with the history of the villa and its inhabitants, as well as some of the Brits who live nearby. There appear to be some mysterious things going on in this environment and Molly tries to sort them out with the help of her father.
