Sumire Ningyo plot

Every night in a theater in a deserted town, Fumizuki performs a strange act with a ventriloquist dummy. He lets a doll speak in a high-pitched voice, just like his sister Sumire, who disappeared five years ago, sounded. One arm was all he found of her. One evening, Fumizuki wanders around town and finds Mitsuko in a strip club, who reminds him of his sister. He follows her into a dark forest, where he is confronted with his own childhood and Sumire's friend, Keisuke, who disappeared shortly after Sumire. It turns out that he used his desire to become a tree surgeon to recreate Sumire from trees.
