Sumbi Sori plot

Hae-jin flees Seoul for Jeju Island, where she is reunited with her mother and grandmother, a haenyeo ("woman of the sea"). Despite her mother's protests, she decides to continue the family tradition of free diving. The film explores the process of cultural transmission and the unbreakable bond between three generations of women.
