Striker plot
The film is set in a slum in Mumbai in the 1980s. Surya grows up with only a little luxury and misses many days at school due to his poor health. His older brother Chandrakant teaches him to play the game Carrom. As he gets older, Surya hopes to be able to go to Dubai to get a good job here, and this diminishes his interest in Carrom. He gets scammed and loses all the money he saved to get to Dubai. Again he starts with Carrom, to earn enough money again.
