Stolen Moments plot

Vera Blaine is a young woman who lives with her guardian, a prosecutor, and his mother. Even though her guardian loves her and hopes to marry her, she is hopelessly in love with a South American novelist. One day she sneaks to the novelist's house and writes a declaration of love in one of his books. The latter discovers the message just as he has to return to South America, and promptly asks the girl to accompany him.
