Stolen Identity plot
"DANGER HUNTS THEM! DEATH HAUNTS THEM!"
The Austrian taxi driver Toni Sponer dreams about emigrating to the United States, but he does not have the right papers to identify himself. One day he witnesses an American, waiting for his taxi, is murdered by Claude Manelli, a jealous husband. Toni acts quickly, taking the papers of the slain American and assuming his identity. Later, Toni falls in love with Karen Manelli, the killer's wife. But Karen actually thinks that Toni is the murderer of her ex-lover. Toni convinces Karen of his innocence and both flee to the United States, only to be chased by Claude.
